A friend of mine who converted an old airstream (RoseAndDalephotoco) approached me to build a bench to keep people from falling backwards into her custom backdrops. She gave me creative control to create something that is simple and would be easily removable for her ever changing setup within the airstream.
I had a friend who is an underwater welder who I contracted to build the legs and found a slab that fit the profile I was looking for. What I came up with was a fairly sleek and rustic little bench to the dimensions given. This thing is light enough to be moved by one person yet sturdy enough to fit four (squished) people for four pictures.
